Favourite Anime Couple?

Anime couples, fanon or canon, are an important part of many anime and manga viewers’ experience. Is there a particular couple you have that’s your favourite?

I don’t have a favourite couple, but then again I don’t really watch romance so I’m no expert. When thinking about canon anime couples the ones that come to find are Howl and Sophie from Howl’s Moving Castle and Yuuri and Viktor from Yuuri!!! On Ice.

Really, couples come to mind that I don’t like as well. For example, whatever was going on with the romance in Parastye I thought was awful.

Anime Tattoos and My Squeamishness

I’ve talked on my blog before about how I think tattoos are super cool, but I’m terrified to get any. Recently though, there have been many tattoos added to my list of ones I like and I thought I’d share them!

Manga Tattoo Ideas

I really like the above Nishinoya and Maki panels! They’re such powerful moments from the two of them and the poses and art is beautiful.

Small Tattoo Ideas

I’ve seen a few people with Aizawa’s goggles as tattoos, and they’re a nice small tattoo! I also just like Organisation XIII from Kingdom Hearts and think these two designs would be cute small designs.

Sword Tattoo Ideas

Having swords surrounded by flowers going down them is so pretty! It makes for good customisation options too.

My Favourite Plot Twist in Anime

Plot twists are always fun when they’re done right. One of my favourite plot twists I’ve seen in an anime is from Yuri on Ice!!! I wasn’t expecting an actual, legit, fully fledged plot twist in Episode 10 (out of a 12 episode series).

What I love about this plot twist is that it answers many questions about why Victor so quickly went to Japan to coach Yuri. This reveal had been set up with Victor’s strange behaviour at the start of the series. Initially, Victor’s odd over-affection and comments were put down to his aloof personality but with this plot twist revealed it shows that he probably was confused by Yuri’s nervousness and reservation.

The plot twist also encourages viewers to re-watch the series to see where this plot twist has been hinted at because it initially appeared so surprising to see. While your first watch is through Yuri’s point of view, watching the second time knowing about this plot twist you can see the series through Victor’s point of view.

The 2020 Releases I’m Most Excited For

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

I love, and will forever love, Animal Crossing. I can’t wait to start playing on it the Switch and be given that golden ticket to a deserted island by the racoon I will forever be indebted to.

Although there is no confirmed date yet for the movie, one can dream that it will be out 2020. BECAUSE I LOVE THIS SERIES WITH ALL MY HEART AND MY LEVEL OF EXCITEMENT FOR IT HAS NOT BEEN DAMPENED SINCE ITS ANNOUCEMENT.

My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising

I love MHA. I know the movie is already out but I haven’t watched it yet so I’m including it in this list. Can’t wait to cry over it, and then read non-stop fanfiction and go on a following fan artists spree these next few weeks.

She-Ra Season 5

Even though nothing is confirmed yet, I am putting it on this list because She-Ra: The Princesses of Power is one of my favourite Netflix series. Everything about it is so good, and I need more in my life.

Dragon Prince Season 4

This is another one of my favourite things I’ve watched on Netflix (and featured on the list despite that the next season has not yet been confirmed). Each season just keeps getting better, and that just makes me hyped for the next!

Umbrella Academy Season 2

Umbrella Academy was sooooooo good! I’m so keen for the next season! It can’t arrive fast enough!

All the Bright Places

This Netflix movie coming out is based upon Jennifer Niven’s book of the same name. I love her YA novels, so I’m interested to see what the movie will be like.

Brooklyn 99 Season 7

Any Brooklyn 99 is good.

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)

The Harley Quinn animated series has made it up into my top 3 DC Universe TV series, which makes me excited to then go see Birds of Prey. Plus, Margot Robbie! Harley Quinn!
