9 FACTS TO KNOW ABOUT RIN FROM BLUE EXORCIST

1. Rin’s favourite animal is an owl!
2. His likes to cook, sleep, eat and space out in his spare time
3. And speaking of cooking, Rin is actually really good at it! His repertoire includes things from Japanese foods to western dishes (though his favourite food is sukiyaki). The reason why he learnt to cook was that because he has oversensitive senses, which means that he can easily detect when something in a dish isn’t right
4. Rin sleeps for 11 hours a day in the manga, and 12 hours in the anime
5. The Blue Exorcist mangaka, Kazue Kato, has said before that originally the twins’ names were switched around – meaning that Rin was going to be called Yukio
6. Rin is 173cm tall and weighs 62kg
7. In his original design, Rin had a tattoo that looked like a burnt-like scar on his face. He was also going to have red flames instead of blue
8. He can see through any lie, no matter how big or small. This is a trait that’s unique to his character in the series
