Don’t Like the Content? Mute or Block

It’s strange to me when people complain about seeing ships they don’t like on their timeline or headcanons they don’t like. Just mute or block the account? There’s no hard feelings – if anything they’d rather prefer you to not interact with their content if you’re going to bring negativity to them. Artists and writers work hard on what they do and don’t deserve to have negative comments or threats sent to them. Muting and blocking takes two seconds and is super easy to do! I think it’s a great idea!

Which Anime Has The Best Fandom?

Fandom is a heavilyyyyy debated topic. Do you believe that there is an anime with a ‘best’ fandom? Perhaps one that is known to be fairly non-toxic, creative, or chill?

Usually to make your fandom experience I would just suggest muting and blocking people who make content you don’t like. There’s no hard feelings! It’s just to curate your space how you want. Fandom is about engaging in a positive way for yourself after all.

Are There Any Concert Band Anime?

I want to see an anime based upon a concert band! Show me the students struggling to practise! Using them instrument stereotypes, a mean conductor, the first violinist falling ill suddenly, the flutes being too loud, the brass mucking around, and the percussion being underappreciated. It could be like a cute slice of life with different episodes following different characters in different sections. Or it could be like a war game between sections and chairs. Who wants to write the script?

5 Facts to Know About Todoroki Enji

  1. Endeavour stars off the series as 45 years old, his birthday is August 8th, he’s 195cm tall, his weight is 118kg, his blood type is AB, his favourite food is kuzumochi, and he was born near the Shizouka Prefecture.
  2. While his blood type is AB, Shoto has the blood type O. For this to be realistically possible, Endeavour would have to have a rare genetic mutation known as Cis AB. Having this mutation is the only genetically possible way for a person with an AB blood type to have a child with an O blood type.
  3. Endeavour’s surname contains the kanji for ‘roar’ (轟 todoroki) while his first name contains the kanji for (炎 en), and ‘boss’ (司 ji). Enji is a common component of male names. When written in the Latin alphabet, Endeavour’s name is also the same name as a fire god in Albanian mythology who was worshipped by the Illyrians. Endeavour’s hero name also means ‘attempting to achieve a goal,’ which is very fitting for him.
  4. In Endeavour’s original concept, he was an instruction at U.A. Horikoshi got rid of this idea though because having both the 1st and 2nd highest ranking hero’s in Japan as teachers at U.A. would favour Class 1-A too much – since most conflicts the school would face would then be too easy to deal with.
  5. According to the Ultra Archive, Endeavour’s stats are:
    Power 5/5 (A)
    Speed 5/5 (A)
    Technique 5/5 (A)
    Intelligence 4/5 (B)
    Cooperativeness 2/5 (D)
While his stats according to the Ultra Analysis are:
    Power 6/6 (S)
    Speed 5/6 (A)
    Technique 5/6 (A)
    Intelligence 4/6 (B)
    Doting Father 6/6 (S)

Why Do Studios Make Anime That Are Bad?

There are many amazing anime out there. But there is equally the same amount of mediocre or bad anime. It makes you wonder – why do bad anime get green-lit to be made?

It takes a lot of effort after all to make an anime. There’s (sometimes) royalties, scripts, budgeting, directing, animating, producing, voice acting, editing, and so much more. With so much going into making an anime, why would people bother to put so much effort into something they know will flop commercially? It’ll just be a waste of money. For companies they’re lucky they’ll break even or at worse, go into debt. For staff members, they can be lumped into the idea that they ‘helped make’ a ‘bad’ quality’ series even if they have no say.

So to answer for the question – it seems that these anime are made because of poor planning and communication. The original script is not what is made. A script/pitch is brought before many different people who have their own ideas and own power within the production. Each department having a different budget and ideas and communication channels effects how well something ends up.

Are All Anime Characters Right-Handed?

Approximately 10% of people are left-handed. That’s 1 in 10 people! But does this 10% translate over into anime?

Well, it certainly is easier to stick to characters being right-handed to streamline the production process where possible. Because of this it’s likely that characters that we know are left-handed, are left-handed because it’s written into their story.

For example, Ushijima from Haikyuu! is left-handed. In volleyball it’s a major benefit for him and his dad stood up for him against his family to left Ushijima use his left hand instead of being forcefully changed to right-handed.

Akiyama from K-On! is also left-handed, something that is troublesome for many musicians such as Akiyama who’s a bass player. Since basses are set up for right-handed people, you need to seek out a left-handed specific bass. For Akiyama, once she gets a left-handed bass her music potential explodes.

Ed from Fullmetal Alchemist is left-handed because he lost his right arm, which he lost when he failed human transmutation when he was younger.

Sasuke however is suggested to be left-handed because when Hagoromo askes for Sasuke’s dominant hand he holds up his left. He also tends to sign jutsu with his left – however Sasuke uses his sword and other weapons in his right. So perhaps he’s ambidextrous. This seems to be the cause for quite a few characters. And other characters are left-handed but it’s more of a small fun detail fans can notice – such as Zero Two who uses her left hand when learning to write but it’s not a thing that’s brought up.

But who’s your favourite left-handed character? What’s your thoughts on this topic?
