A BIT OF A MINI HIATUS ANNOUNCEMENT

I’ll be back…

Hi guys!

So I’m taking a mini hiatus (which technically I’ve already started but who cares about the details)! I’ll probably only be gone for a few weeks, maybe a month at the most? I’m not sure. We’ll have to see how I go.

I’ve already deleted my Instagram stuff (it was a mess anyway) and have privated it and my Twitter account for now. But I will still be online! I may not be writing posts and I won’t be reading others’ posts as much as I usually do, commenting on stuff a lot (which I’m bad at already but shhhh) or seeing stuff that’s going on with everyone… But yeah, I won’t be completely vanishing!

And after I’m back I do have a ‘not-really-a-change-but-an-addition-sort-of-thing-I-want-to-add-in-with-formatting-or-you-could-call-it-a-schedule-but-it’s-not-a-schedule-more-formatting-you-can-really-tell-what-I’m-doing-here-can’t-you.’ Plus I want to start talking about movies and TV shows more!

So that’s it from me for now! See you all in a few weeks! 🙂

THE 7 WORLDS FROM STUDIO GHIBLI MOVIES THAT I THINK I COULD ACTUALLY SURVIVE IN

And obviously that I’d want to live in. Because no thank-you to being whisked away to live throughout the events of Grave of the Fireflies and have to fight in the world of Princess Mononoke. And I also excluded films from this list that are set in more realistic worlds like From Up on Poppy Hill, The Wind Rises and Only Yesterday.

Howl’s Moving Castle

I really, really like the world of Howl’s Moving Castle. I mean, I’d prefer if there wasn’t a war going on but it seems relatively short-lived anyway and this world is too beautiful to not live in. All the different towns are so pretty! And all the magic too!

You cannot tell me that this wouldn’t be a cool world to live in. There’s so many awesome things in here with all the magic, cool sea life and it’s just super pretty
Kiki’s Delivery Service

The town Kiki goes to complete her training is pretty nice. I like the idea that witches live among everyone else too and learn to specialise in an area to then make a living. Plus all the townspeople are lovely

If only we could all find a tunnel that would lead us to a lush, green cavern where beings such as Totoro and the Catbus and the smaller Totoros…
Porco Rosso

A post WWI world where the story takes place predominately in the Adriatic Sea and then also a bit in Milan, Italy? Sign me up! Okay sure so the world has some problems and all but the whole thing about this is that there’s air pirates and such a focus on the sky and it’s so cool!

So many cats. I love it. If I could transition between the cat world and the human world then I would be a very happy person

This world just has such a cool design. It all looks amazing, there’s definitely some fascinating creatures here and the rules/laws of this world are pretty interesting too

I’D LIKE TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THESE CHARACTERS WERE THINKING WHEN THEY DID THESE 5 THINGS IN ‘ATTACK ON TITAN’ PLEASE

I can understand why these characters did what they did. This list just consists of some things that happened that we can look back on and realise that they weren’t really the best course of action to take regarding ‘self-preservation’…

After 3 years of training Connie? I understand that you were stressed, there was pressure, it was a moving target, but still? You could have just AIMED for the NAPE.

Yes Reiner. Telling Eren who’s hellbent on revenge against the Titans that you and Bertholdt are the ones who destroyed Wall Maria was really the best move in this situation. Definitely.
Those dudes who went back to retrieve their dead friend’s body
I fully understand where they’re coming from. I do. But it was still a dumb decision.

Okay, I understand it’s hard and that it hurts. But what did they think was going to happen when they took a DEAD BODY AWAY FROM A TITAN INFESTED TERRITORY AND THEN KEPT CARRYING THE BODY WITH THEM TOWARDS WHERE THERE WAS THE OTHER BODIES OF FALLEN SOLDIERS AND ALSO THE ALIVE SOLDIERS? ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THAT TITANS EAT HUMANS AND ARE DRAWN TO LARGER CROWDS OF HUMANS??? They were told that it was too dangerous to retrieve their friend’s body and they still defied orders. I understand, but this is a case where they really should have been thinking a bit more with their heads rather than being driven by emotion.

Armin honey, I don’t think that’s going to work…

“If you can’t give up anything, then you can’t change anything!” Armin screams as he clings to an unconscious Jean that he cradles in his arms while waving one blade around at a titan. And Armin’s a smart guy, he would have known that doing this meant certain doom and death for both of them. Though I am so glad that they are both still alive.

So yes, maybe as Shadis says these two are just “seriously stupid.” But wouldn’t they have realised that they clearly were going to get an ear-full from the scary sergeant who make them run and do extra duties and other things that could have so easily been avoided? And they could instead be resting or sleeping?

MY 4 FAVOURITE KATAPHRAKTS FROM ‘ALDNOAH ZERO’

I think I’m seeing a theme here…

KG-6 Sleipnir

I prefer its mobility over defence (especially considering that the armour ends up doing practically nothing when the Martian Kataphrakts’ attack anyway…) and I like the ‘wings’ it has that can be used as a shield or to hover for a bit. And I always think that a grappling hook would also be helpful and awesome to use!

Manipulating gravity?! Sign me up! Flying too?! Yes please!

I love that it’s equipped so that it came become invisible. And fortunately they’ve thought through its design a bit and it also has explosive arrows that are fired from a long-range, so that you don’t have to give away your location!
Tharsis

I love the Tharsis. It’s fast, has increased mobility on ground and in the air, is equipped with shields, machine guns (for long-range combat) and blades (for close-range combat)! Not to mention that the pilot being able to see a few seconds into the future part would allow to really utilise this Kataphrakts to show us what it can do

1. What is your favourite and least favourite food?

I hate red meat. Steak, sausages, bacon… I don’t like any of it. Which is probably why I found it easy to go vegetarian – because all I ate was chicken and tuna…
My favourite food however… would have to be chocolate! I can never go without something chocolate flavoured for more than two days! It may be unhealthy, but chocolate is nowadays essential to my happiness

2. What is your pet peeve?

When people feel the need to touch everything in sight. Like, in the grocery store or in a room or somewhere where one really doesn’t need to be touching everything in their line of sight but decides to anyway

3. If you can bring any fictional character to this world, who would it be and what would be the first thing you will do?

Any of the Yuri on Ice cast. And the first thing I would probably do is cry
